OOF! You can’t even joak on that. Massive.
It almost makes up for this facial hair situation:
On the flip, dude’s main coif was looking strong.
Proper podcasts to put in your ears:
You Must Remember This from Karina Longworth. I’m not super deep into this one yet, but Longworth has a 12-part series on Hollywood and the Manson murders. 12 hours. Each episode is so meticulously researched, written and produced, it’s golden. I don’t know if I will go completed on this on but it seems perfect for picking-and-choosing your way through until suddenly you are a completist. Bonus: Nate Dimeo provides the voice of Charles Manson.
The Best Show with Tom Scharpling. I was never really a listener of this when it was on WMFU, I mean I knew it existed, I just didn’t know what it was. Then I heard Scharpling talking with Jesse Thorp on Bullseye and that was great, so I listened to the podcast a few times. Let this one soak in and it will greatly improve your week, three hours at a time.
There is nothing I want to wear less while riding skateboards than these shoes. That structural sock just got soaked with the sweat that started on my head, rolled down my back, between the sweet cheeks of my rump and down my legs, only stopping once they hit these fresh-ass Ks.
On a related, run bloggers over at www.whatitalkaboutwhenitalkaboutrunningclothes.com seem to think this is a conspiracy to bring down the sock game.
Hey-O! Here’s something. Next time you’re in New York, get yourself a nice hot dog. I’m not talking about you eating 34 of them in one minute at Nathan’s, unless you are a disgusting human being and that’s your thing. But I’m saying, get yourself a proper encased meat.
Typically, I’m 100% comfortable telling people what snowboards to buy, what clothes to wear, or what things to hear, because I am in that mix. But, I am definitely not in the mix of NYMeats, and my recommendation to hit Schaller’s Stube might seem unsubstantiated, but don’t take my word for it. Check out this flashy #3 ranking from Eater.com (which is also the site from where I lifted that image).
So get your asses down to Schaller’s Stube and get a hotdog with some heritage.
I’m feeling some pain regarding my “no midwest snowboarding” decision for the year. Mostly because in 10 days I’m heading to Colorado and then to Jackson. And Jackson has had roughly 8 inches of snow since the day we booked our condo there, January 3rd.
It’s gonna be heavy spring riding. I hope I can hang.
